MIES (Switzerland) - FIBA is thrilled to announce a partnership with ORSEN, a leading global marketing agency specializing in sports and entertainment partnerships. Under this new agreement, ORSEN will exclusively handle the commercial rights of FIBA 3x3 competitions worldwide.

Since its inception in 2010, FIBA 3x3 has established itself as a prominent sports discipline and a global success story. Recognizing the potential for further growth, FIBA believes it is the perfect moment to elevate the sport to the next commercial level. With ORSEN's exceptional ability to forge and lead future-proof partnerships, this collaboration is strategically placed to propel FIBA 3x3's current exponential growth.

This strategic alliance positions ORSEN as the global mandate holder for marketing rights, bringing its expertise as a connector, facilitator, and trusted advisor in the sports industry to the rapidly growing world of 3x3 basketball. ORSEN’s proven track record of crafting future-proof partnerships is set to fast track FIBA 3x3's current exponential growth across events, participation, digital and viewership.

"We are very excited to embark on this partnership with ORSEN, especially at a time when hundreds of millions of fans will tune in to watch the world's number one urban team sport at the Olympic Games Paris 2024. This collaboration is a major step forward in our mission to elevate and commercialize 3x3 basketball on the global stage," said Alex Sanchez, Managing Director of FIBA 3x3.

ORSEN will work closely with brand partners and rights holders to identify and create valuable marketing opportunities that promote the unique, urban, and inclusive culture of 3x3 basketball. This partnership will enhance the visibility and commercial appeal of FIBA 3x3 events, ensuring fans and partners alike benefit from world class, engaging basketball experiences.

Sean O'Reilly, CEO of ORSEN, remarked, "We are honored to join forces with FIBA, the pioneer of the 3x3 basketball community. Our dedication to facilitating impactful partnerships will help propel 3x3 basketball to new heights. We look forward to bringing our expertise and strategic insights to one of the most dynamic sports in the world."

Following the recently signed collaboration with Karl Lagerfeld, the commercial partnership between FIBA 3x3 & ORSEN, promises to deliver innovative opportunities and heightened visibility, starting from this season onwards.

Wilson is the Global Ball Partner and Maurice Lacroix the Official Timekeeper of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour 2024.

FIBA 3x3 events are played on Enlio floors with Wilson balls, Schelde backstops, Bodet shot-clocks and the Magic Sky canopy system.
