CAIRO, Egypt (FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup 2017) - The groups for the FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup 2017 were confirmed during the Draw Ceremony held in Cairo, Egypt on Saturday.

A fourth team from the Americas will be announced by FIBA at a later stage to finalise the 16-team line-up as a result of the suspension currently being served by Brazil's Basketball Federation.

The tournament will take place from 1-9 July in Cairo, beginning with the Group Phase (1-4 July) and followed by the Final Phase (5-9 July). Click here for the Competition Schedule and here for the Competition System.

The ceremony also served to reveal the tournament's official logo and establish the new name of the competition formerly known as the FIBA U19 World Championship.
