RIO DE JANEIRO (Olympics) - Yao Ming, a star at three Olympic Games with China's national team, twice led his country into the Quarter-Finals. If fans could pick any five players to be on their fantasy Olympic team, many would no doubt choose Yao, a giant center that just went into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame.

But what about Yao himself? Who would he select to be in his Olympic team? 

"The first basketball player I would pick is Oscar (Schmidt)," Yao said in his interview with the Olympic Channel. "The second player would be (Arvydas) Sabonis. I watched several tapes of him playing basketball. He's an amazing player!"

It turns out that Yao would also have three members of his own family in his Olympic five.

"My parents for sure," he said with a smile. "As players they dream of playing in the Olympics. And myself. I would like to participate in the Olympics with them."
