Iagupova headlines Top Performers with season-high points tally

MUNICH (EuroLeague Women) - Ukrainian sensation Alina Iagupova was at her clinical best on Wednesday night, assuring her spot in this week's top performers.

Displaying what many have already witnessed her do in a Ukrainian national team jersey on numerous occasions, Iagupova cut loose on the offensive end, scoring 37 points as ESBVA-LM ran away from visitors CCC Polkowice 75-55. It was good enough to earn her an efficiency of 29.

Once more joining her on the list was ZVVZ USK Prague's Sonja Petrovic. However, if one were to ask Petrovic, she would happily trade her position on the team for a victory as Prague once more went down to a top contender, this time Fenerbahce, 75-71. Petrovic finished the night with 24 points and an efficiency of 26, giving her an overall tournament-best efficiency of 25.7.

Coming up against Petrovic, was Alexandria Quigley. The naturalised Hungarian was in fine all-round touch, scoring 16 points to go with five rebounds and seven assists. This amounted to an efficiency of 24.

Up front and under the hoop is veteran Pole Ewelina Kobryn who continues to take advantage of her wealth of knowledge and experience, racking up 14 points and 10 rebounds to steer Wisla Can-Pack by Mersin 59-56.

Rounding out this week's team is Endene Miyem. Coming up against her former team in Dynamo Kursk, the forward almost led a famous victory for Famila Schio, managing an 18-point, 11-rebound double-double. However, it would be in vain as a full-strength Kursk outfit went home with the win, 79-75.
