Zirkova headlines final 12 for Slovak Republic
BRATISLAVA (FIBA EuroBasket Women 2017) - Veteran star Zuzana Zirkova will lead underdogs Slovak Republic into The Final Round on this week.
Having made a FIBA EuroBasket Women debut appearance some 18 years ago, her know-how will be priceless for a nation who are being tipped to struggle.

New head coach Marian Svoboda watched his side complete their program of friendly games with two heavy defeats to Hungary and they will need to rediscover their form from the start of the preparations.
As well as Zirkova, the backcourt will rely on Barbora Balintova who was impressive during her debut at the Final Round two years ago.
There is also a return for another hugely experienced player in forward Romana Vynuchalova, while Reyer Venezia star Marie Ruzickova and the ever-reliable Anna Jurcenkova, will also be integral in the paint.
Slovak Republic will compete in Group B against Belarus, Italy and Turkey.
