HAGEN (FIBA EuroBasket 2017) - The big man trio of Isaiah Hartenstein, Bogdan Radosavljevic and Moritz Wagner were added to Germany's 20-man preliminary squad for the next training camp ahead of the FIBA EuroBasket 2017.

The 19-year-old Hartenstein missed the recent FIBA U19 Basketball World Cup 2017 after being selected by the Houston Rockets in the second round of the 2017 NBA Draft with the 43rd pick. It is still unclear where the 7ft (2.13m) Hartenstein will play next season.

The 24-year-old Radosavljevic is also a 7ft (2.13m) center who has played with Bayern Munich and Tubingen in the past and will be playing his second season with Alba Berlin. Radosavljevic's last national team appearance came at the Universiade 2015 where Germany took second place. He also played at the FIBA U20 European Championship 2013.

Wagner initially declared for the 2017 NBA Draft but pulled his name out after a strong season with the University of Michigan. The 6ft 10in (2.08m) power forward also turned heads with his performances at the FIBA U20 European Championship 2017 earlier this month with averages of 16.1 points, 5.3 rebounds and 2.6 steals. The 20-year-old previously helped Germany earn promotion from the FIBA U18 European Championship 2014, Division B.

Germany head coach Chris Fleming called upon the young low post trio after two players were unavailable for the next training camp which starts on July 28.

Maximilian Kleber pulled out of the tournament preparations to work on getting ready for his first season in the NBA with the Dallas Mavericks. Maik Zirbes from Bayern Munich cannot take part in the next camp because of an injury. It's unclear if Zirbes will be fit in time for the FIBA EuroBasket 2017.

Germany will train until August 2 in Rotenburg an der Fulda, before they head to Erfurt for an exhibition game against Belgium on August 5.
