Angola announce 23-player list for FIBA U16 Women's African Championship 2017 training camp
LUANDA (FIBA U16 Women's Championship 2017) - Angola head coach Elisa Pires has selected 23 players for a training for this year's FIBA U16 Women's African Championship in Mozambique.
According to an Angolan Basketball Federation (FAB) statement, the preparation starts on Tuesday, June 20 in the capital city of Luanda.

The Final Round will run from August 4 -12 in Beira, Mozambique, and the Angolans, who claimed a Third-Place finish at FIBA U16 Women's African Championship two years ago in Madagascar, emerge as a podium contender.
So far teams qualified for the 12-team event includes hosts Mozambique, reigning champions Mali, Nigeria, Angola, Algeria, Tunisia, Madagascar and Egypt.
The finalists at Mozambique showpiece will represent Africa at next year's FIBA U17 Women's Basketball World Cup.
Last year, Mali became the only African representative at FIBA U17 Women's Basketball World Cup following the withdrawal of Nigeria.
