Uruguay recover with powerful win over Peru

CARACAS (South American Championship) – Uruguay dominated Peru, 95-50, and improved to a 2-1 record in Group B action. Tomorrow on the last day of the Group Phase, Uruguay will take on Chile, in a game with Semi-Finals implications, and Peru will have the day off.

• Turning Point: Starting the first quarter, the Uruguayans took a commanding lead after dominating the first quarter 25 – 17. Uruguay’s lead kept growing en route to the victory.
