Career: MiZo Pecs (Hungary-A Division, 2004-06), Spartak Moscow Region (Russia-Superleague, 2006-07), CSKA Moscow (Russia-Superleague, 2007-08).
The young prospect missed all 11 of her shots at the EuroBasket last year but remains a promising player as it is hard to find women with her size and mobility. She left her native Penza at the age of 16 for Hungarian club side MiZo Pecs. It was an opportunity for her to show her game and she twice blocked Maria Stepanova’s shot in a EuroLeague game against CSKA. Last summer, she moved from Spartak Moscow Region to CSKA Moscow but her role hasn’t really been increased as she averaged 2.9 points and one rebound per game this season in the EuroLeague Women.
