Career: Woori Hansae (Korea-WKBL)
Kim has been called the WKBL’s Allen Iverson. The veteran guard, the league MVP in 2005, is the fastest woman in the Korean league who averaged 13.7 points and 3.7 assists last season. The 34-year-old has a good long-range shot and is hard to stop because of her quickness. When the other team has the ball, however, Kim has come under criticism for lacking physical strength and failing to play hard defense. This Korean team does not have many options and still needs her experience and ability to knock down clutch shots. At the 2002 FIBA World Championship in China where Korea finished fourth, Kim averaged 10.6 points in 21 minutes per game.
