Career: Petrochimi (Iran-Superleague, 2002-08)

Ali Doraghi’s size and frame are greatly appreciated by Iran, particularly when center Hamed Ehadadi needs a breather. He has no problem doing the dirty work or whatever assignment is asked of him. He plays with power and relishes contact and can frustrate opposing big men who may not match up to his relentlessness. Ali only averaged eight minutes per game at least year’s FIBA Asia Championship but still pulled down 3.1 boards per contest.
