Juan Carlos Navarro is coming off his one and only season in the NBA with the Memphis Grizzlies where he nailed 158 three-pointers – the second most ever for a rookie. Navarro enjoyed the experience and spoke of his happiness at knowing that he was worthy of a place in the league but felt more attached to Spain and this summer decided to return to his all-time club, FC Barcelona. Navarro is an explosive, superb long-range shooter who can hit three-pointers from anywhere and in any situation. He is also well known for his running tear-drop shot in the lane. Spain have enjoyed some great moments in recent years with silver medals at the EuroBaskets in 2003 and 2007, and gold at the 2006 FIBA World Championship. Navarro has been there for all of them.
