Career: Spartak St. Petersburg (Russia-Superleague, 1990-93), Avtodor Saratov (Russia-Superleague, 1993-99), Pinar Karsiyaka (Turkey-D1, 1999-2000), ASVEL Villeurbanne (2000-01), CSKA Moscow (Russia-Superleague, 2001-03), Ural Great Perm (Russia-Superleague, 2003-04), CSKA Moscow (Russia-Superleague, 2004-08).

For 11 years now, sharpshooter Pashutin has been a dedicated servant of the national team. Once a big time scorer, in particular for Saratov, he gave up his dreams of individual glory after disappointing seasons abroad in Izmir (Turkey) and Lyon (France). Pashutin came back home to Russia and, except for one year with Perm, put his expertise and high basketball IQ at the service of CSKA Moscow (7.6ppg in 2007-08 in the Superleague with a nice 29 of 63 shooting from three-point range). At 34, he’s got plenty of experience and that’s one reason why he always seems to do the right thing. That applies to his playmaking, outside jump shooting under pressure or coming up with clever defensive decisions. His older brother Evgeni, whom he played with at Saratov and CSKA, is the assistant coach of the national team.
