Bagayoko played for the under-19 and under-21 National Teams before becoming the starting point guard of Mali’s senior side at just 19 years of age. She loves the flashy game and will often make no-look passes, do cross-over dribbles and go on devastating drives to the basket. This Beijing Olympics will be a great opportunity for Bagayoko as she will go up against the best playmakers in the world. At the 2007 FIBA Africa Championship, she averaged 8.6 points and 2.8 assists in 27 minutes per game.
