Karla is another Brazil player who has the ability to put up big numbers from the guard position. She was the fourth leading scorer in the domestic championship this season, averaging 17.6 with Catanduva, the side that finished runners-up to Ourinhos. This long-range weapon – she buried 40% of her shots in the CNBF – also has Olympic experience. She played at the Athens Games in 2004 and helped Brazil reach the semi-finals. After a break from the National Team, she returned last year and played at the FIBA Americas Championship in Chile. She was the most prolific in the squad at the Olympic qualifying tournament when it came to scoring from long distance, making 42.1% of her shots.
