After recovering from hepatitis, Kress took the 2006-2007 campaign off in order to get back into basketball shape. At the EuroBasket Women last year, the once dominant center struggled to cope with the physical demands of this type of competition and averaged 2.3 points and 2.9 rebounds in 12.8 minutes per game. This year, Kress impressed with Spanish club Extrugasa Vilagarcia, averaging 7.8 points 5.6 rebounds in 22 games. She has plenty of experience on the big stage, having played for some of the top teams in Europe. The 27 year old center is a big part of the Belarusian’s frontline. If at her best, she will make a Belarus team that was very good last year even better.
