Sven Schultze had an outstanding year at Armani Jeans Milano but sadly missed EuroBasket 2007 with an irregular heart beat that was diagnosed during the training camp just days before the start of the tournament. Schultze is a physical, blue-collar player who can create mismatches at both the small and power forward spots. He can run the floor very well and hit the three-pointer from just about anywhere. Schultze has becoming a better passer and was a welcome returnee to Bauermann's mix for the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament though he played only a minor role in the tournament.
