Carlos Jimenez is the captain of the Spanish National Team and his proudest moment came in Japan when he lifted the 2006 FIBA World Championship trophy. The 32-year-old has been the starting small forward in the team for many years and one of the reasons why he has been a lynchpin in the side is his versatility. The Unicaja Malaga veteran can play either forward spot and is a fierce rebounder and shot blocker.
The 2.05m tall player is a strong presence on defense and will make life difficult for any opponent. Jimenez goes into his third Olympics with a point to prove as some believe his recent performances were not good enough for him to make the National Team.
