Entering EuroBasket 2009, Milos Teodosic was not the superstar he is today.

His great performances both in Poland and through the past season in Euroleague have helped tp establish him as one of the best point guards in Europe.

He will gain have the responsibility of leading Serbia to the gold medal in Turkey.

Born in Valijevo, Teodosic started playing basketball with FMP Zeleznik, the best manufacturer of basketball talents in Serbia.

He played his first game with the senior team in 2004-05, and was then loaned to Borak Cacak the following year to gain some playing time.

In 2006, he came back to Zeleznik to assume a major role in the team.

He revealed himself at the U20 European Championship in 2007, leading Serbia to the gold medal and earning the MVP title,  averaging 16.0 points, 2.6 rebounds and 5.4 assists His scoring ability and his passing skills seduced Olympiacos, and he moved to Greece for the 2007-08 season but in a roster full of very talented players, it was not easy for him to impose himself.

During 2008-09, Olympiacos were even ready to loan him or even transfer him but Teodosic worked hard on his game and it paid back last summer.

He took the leadership of the Serbian National Team and led them to the silver medal at the EuroBasket 2009 in Poland. He had 20 points and 12 assists against Lithuania in the Qualifying Round and became a national hero a few days later when he scored 32 points to qualify Serbia for the final by eliminating Slovenia.

He averaged 14.1 points, 2.6 rebounds and 5.2 assists and was named in the All-EuroBasket First Team.

Teodosic started the 2009-10 season with a lot of confidence and imposed himself as the leader of Olympiacos.

He led the Greek team to the Euroleague final where they were eventually defeated by Barcelona.

Nevertheless, he was named the MVP of Euroleague and crucially at only 23, Teodosic can still improve his game and will have other opportunities to win Euroleague but most of all, earn a gold medal with Serbia.
