Cipriano entered the National Team at just 22 years of age and his role has grown bigger and bigger.
He was Angola’s top scorer at the 2005 FIBA Africa Championship in Algiers, which included 22 points in the final.
Cipriano also has experience of winning at club level.
With Primero de Agosto he has captured two national titles and two African Club Championships.
But after his MVP title in the Angola League in 2008, he had a disappointing Olympic campaign in Beijing.
However, he came back with a strong FIBA Africa Championship in Libya.
Deciding to face up to a new challenge, he left the Army club of Primero de Agosto and signed with newly formed club Lubolo to capture the Angolan Cup during the first year of the club playing in the first division.
