Casey Frank comes into the FIBA World Championship in good form, after averaging 11ppg and 8rpg and helping to lead the Wellington Saints to the New Zealand NBL title, shooting an impressive 68% from the field in the championship series.

Frank has enjoyed a long and successful career in the New Zealand NBL as an import and then naturalised Kiwi, and first made his debut for the National Team at the 2006 FIBA World Championship in Japan.

In a team that struggled to find consistent form, Frank was a constant presence off the bench, his best performance coming against champions Spain, where he had 10 points and four rebounds in just 16 minutes, In recent tournaments his production and minutes have dropped, but at 31 he is capable of providing valuable cover in case of foul trouble to Bradshaw, Pledger, Cameron and Marks.
