Natalia was the leader in assists in the Brazil national championship with an average of 7.1 per game and one of the revelations of the year as a player with Catanduva, who finished runners-up to National Team coach Paulo Bassul’s Ourinhos. Her spectacular progress – she also poured in 13.1 points per game and came up with an average of two steals, led to her first Brazil call-up in March for a friendly series against Cuba in Havana. The fast point guard is hoping to represent her country in a rotation of the more experienced Claudinha and Adrianinha. Natalia makes up for her lack of height with additional fight.
