After a one-year rehabilitation period after suffering a torn knee ligament, Rika Tanaka made a superb comeback this season with the JOMO Sunflowers to help her club reach the league finals. This world-class shooting guard is returning to the National Team after a three-year absence. Her ability to drive fearlessly into the lane and her accuracy from three-point range should make her an important part of Japan’s offence.
