Kumiko Yamada is the tallest center in Japan. She is a player with a soft shooting touch who plays a key role inside for the Japan National Team. Kumiko was a serious candidate for the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games when she was in high school, but her dream to play at the Olympic Games then did not come true. She also missed the 2000 2004 Olympic Games. Therefore, she will put all that she has to get a chance to play in an Olympic Tournament, in Beijing, 12 years later.
