Born in Gorée, the island where slaves were taken to the Americas, she had her first experience with the Senegalese National Team in 2003 in a two-game series against Mali in Bamako in a FIBA Africa Championship qualifier. She then spent her career in France in the lower divisions, playing this year in Charleville-Mézières - one of the top teams of second division - playing an average of 15 minutes with 5.5 points and 4.3 rebounds.
