After a short absence due to a bad ligament injury, Sachiko Ishikawa has made her comeback to Japan’s National Team. A small forward, Sachiko is known as a player who has powerful moves and one who is always willing to engage in the tough battles for rebounds. Her reliability on defence has earned her the trust of her coach, and teammates, and she often draws the assignment as the player who will attempt to shut down an opponent’s primary scoring option.
