Carmelo Antrone Lee was born in Atlanta, Georgia. His father is Puerto Rican. Lee spent his freshman year at the University of Florida before transferring to Long Beach State. He made his debut in the BSN league in 2005 and has been one of the best players in the country for the last three seasons, averaging around 18 points and five rebounds a game. But he has also played a lot in Mexico and had brief spells in Portugal and South Korea. He made his debuts with the Puerto Rico National Team at the 2006 FIBA World Championship in Japan. Lee is an all-round player that can be used at three different positions. He is a good shot-blocker and three-point shooter.
