Nikola Prkacin, whose nickname is Niksa, is the most experienced player in the Croatia National Team and at 32 years of age can still be decisive when he is healthy. Prkacin has played in six different EuroBaskets. When he was a kid in Dubrovnik, he started to play water polo but then opted for basketball. After joining Cibona Zagreb in 1998, he quickly became a key player of the Croatian powerhouse. He then spent five years at Efes Pilsen, winning two Turkish leagues. This season, he signed a lucrative contract with Dynamo Moscow and then joined Panathinaikos in January. He averaged 3.8 points and 0.8 rebounds per game in the Euroleague but was unable to help his team reach the Euroleague Final Four.
