For the second straight year, Hasper switched between Vologda-Chevakata’s first and second teams. Still young and maturing at center, the 20-year-old Minsk native averaged 9.3 points, 5.9 rebounds and 1.2 blocks in nine EuroCup Women games. For a long time, her progression was hampered by weight problems, but not anymore. A gifted rebounder, Hasper has continued to develop her offensive game. Close friends with Verameyenka, with whom she played in the Belarus youth teams, Hasper may not be as talented but has plenty of skill and possesses a fearless attitude. After spending most of her time on the bench during the last EuroBasket, she should finally see some action during the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament for Women.
