Career: TTT Riga (Latvia-LSBL, 2001-06), Szolnok (Hungary-A Division, 2006-07), TTT Riga (Latvia-LSBL, 2007-08).

Eglite does very well in the team concept. She is patient, unselfish and makes good passes while also rebounding well. She is also solid on the defensive end as well. Eglite became an important part of the Latvia National Team before EuroBasket 2005 and since then has been one of the key members of the side although her statistics rarely reflect her impact on the floor. Zane will never be a great scorer but is a good supporting player, bringing coolness and stability to the team. At EuroBasket 2007, she played 21 minutes per game, averaging 2.2 points and 3.1 rebounds. After spending the 2006-07 season in Szolnok (Hungary), she came back to Latvia and had a good season with TTT Riga.
