Career: Ensino (Spain-LF, 1997-2002), UB FC Barcelona (Spain-LF, 2002-04), US Valenciennes (France-LFB, 2004-05), Acis Incosa León (Spain-LF, 2005-07), Perfumerías Avenida (Spain-LF, 2007-08).

Isa Sánchez is one of the hardest workers in Spanish basketball. If she finally has reached and settled in the National Team, call it anything but a gift. She’s gained a lot of plaudits for her ability to work within the team concept. Sánchez, even though she may not be the most talented player, competes with passion and a lot of intensity. When it was time to earn a living, Sánchez left Sevilla for Liga Femenina 1 side Ensino. Year after year (UB FC Barcelona, US Valenciennes, León) she improved but a huge number of shooting guards in the Spanish National Team left her constantly overlooked. Sánchez was a big contributor last year in Chieti, which brings to mind the old adage `better late than never’.
