Jana Vesela is a tall, long and athletic. She could play anywhere on the court, though her coach uses her mostly as a forward. Vesela can dribble and possesses decent shooting range. She can do just about anything to help her team. At the EuroBasket Women in Chieti, she led the team in steals, while in 2005 Vesela was the Czechs’ top rebounder. Vesela does not need to score a lot to dominate. Her defence is also tremendous. She can control quick guards as well as inside players. More importantly, she is a winner at the highest level. Vesela captured the EuroLeague Women crown with Brno in 2006, the U19 World Championship (2001) and EuroBasket 2005 with the national team.
