Career: Hradec Kralove (Czech Republic-ZBL, 2004-2005), Valosun KP Brno (Czech Republic-ZBL, 2005-2008).

Along with Romana Hejdova, Miroslava Svobodova last summer discovered the national team after a great season with Valosun Brno (13.0 ppg and 6.8 rpg). In fact, Miloslava had been even better in 2005-06 (14.1 ppg and 9.1 rpg, 2nd best in ZBL). She astounded everybody in the Czech Republic with those stats because two years before, she had barely played at the U20 European Championship in 2004 (five minutes per game only). At EuroBasket 2007, she was the 12th women on the National Team but almost did not step on the court. For her size, she is a fierce rebounder, but doubts remain if she can be a significant force as a power forward at the highest level of competition.
