Natalia Vodopyanova is a warrior and a tough competitor who dedicates herself primarily to defense and rebounding. Her work ethic and attitude have made her a fan favourite in each team she has played for. At the 2006 FIBA World Championship, she played a big role for Russia as they brought home the silver medal. She was important to Igor Grudin on the defensive side last year. At the end of last season, she decided to leave Dynamo Moscow to join Ekaterinburg, averaging averaging 5.1 points and 4.7 rebounds per game in the EuroLeague Women. Like many of her team-mates, Vodopyanova likes cars and is notably a big fan of Italian manufacturer Lamborghini.
