Once known as “l’enfant terrible” of Russian Basketball, Irina Osipova finally burst out last summer at EuroBasket 2007, averaging 10.6 points and 7.6 rebounds per game to help the Russia National Team win the gold medal. She was unlucky not to make the all-tournament team as she was Russia’s most consistent player.
