Claudinha is the most experience player in Paulo Bassul’s Brazil National Team but one who had a five-year hiatus that she ended when playing at the FIBA Americas Championship in Chile. The previous competition of Claudinha in the green and yellow shirt had been the 2002 FIBA World Championship in China. After Helen Luz's retirement, her experience at top level of international basketball made of her an excellent leader for the squad. Claudinha is an intelligent point guard who knows how to control the game’s tempo, set up her teammates and also shake up the squad when necessary. Moreover, she's an excellent scorer with great range (40% from behind the arc in her several seasons in France).
