Career: Strasbourg CM Aubervilliers (France-NF2, 2003-07), RC Strasbourg (France-NF1, 2007-08)

Diana is the only player not born in Mali. She had been scouted in 2007 during a preparation game of Mali in Strasbourg. Born in France to a Malian father and a Senegalese mother, she grew up in the northern suburbs of Paris and learned basketball with the boys on the playgrounds before entering the Aubervilliers club to play in the third division while a university student. Last year, Gandega decided to enter the professional ranks by signing in Strasbourg. A good shooter with great ball-handling skills, she is very proud to represent the team of her father’s land.
