Harmon is another US-based player to recently declare her eligibility for the Tall Ferns through Kiwi mother Julie. Born in New York, she grew up at Lake Oswego, Oregon, and has just finished her junior year at Stanford University, where she has averaged 7.9 points a game over her career with the Cardinal. Just days after helping Stanford to the NCAA championship final (where they lost to University of Tennessee), Harmon made her debut with the Tall Ferns at the Good Luck Beijing, compiling a double double (17 points/11 rebounds) in their first ever win over Australia.
