A well-known player in Europe, Laia Palau has reached the highest level after a lot of hard work. Her athletic conditioning and quickness finally exploded when she met Carme Lluveras in Barcelona. This left-handed shooting guard acquired more self-confidence and she became ambitious as well, changing her secondary role into a key one so that Palau became UB’s leader in her first league title. Then, the National Team called her and Bourges fans fell in love with her spectacular no-look passes and game-winning jump shots. After two years with the Tango-Team, Palau came back to Spain to be a part of an ambitious Ros Casares project where Lluveras is the general manager. She can change the face of any game with her electric one-on-one skills.
