Career: Bremen (Germany-2.Bundesliga, 2002-05), Berlin (Germany-Bundesliga, 2005-08)
Philip Zwiener is the best German player of his generation. He started his career with Bremen and averaged 14.4 points and 4.7 rebounds in 2004-05 in the second division. Then he moved to ALBA Berlin and has needed time to impose himself in one of the most competitive teams in Germany. This season, he helped ALBA win the Bundesliga and he will, as a result, make his debut in the Euroleague next season. In 2005, he posted 12.0 points and 7.0 rebounds at the 2005 European Championship for Young Men. He also played for the A2 National Team the last two years. He played in three games for Germany at the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament.
