Career: Bayer Leverkusen (Germany-Bundesliga, 2005-06), Brose Baskets (Germany-Bundesliga, 2006-08).
Tim Ohlbrecht has been the most promising German prospect since Dirk Nowitzki. He started his professional career with Bayer Leverkusen before moving to Bamberg in 2006. He revealed himself at the European Championship for Junior Men in 2005, averaging 15.8 points and 7.6 rebounds per game. Despite his young age, he is already a very technical player and his shooting range allows him to play at both power-forward and center positions. He is a very good athlete and possesses an amazing mobility for an inside player. His explosive leaping ability makes him a good blocker. This season, he made his debuts in the Euroleague and posted 3.3 points and 2.5 rebounds. This summer, he made his debut with the senior National Team at the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament though did not play many minutes.
