Prekevicius is another player from the Butautas squad that captured a gold medal at the U21 World Championship in Agrentina in 2005. After a few years in the NCAA at South Florida, Prekevicius returned to Europe to play professionally. Year after year he has developed into a solid and consistant point guard. Prekevicius had never played for the senior squad in official competitions before the summer of 2008 so he still has to prove he deserves his place in the National Team’s final roster.
