Career: Zrinjevac Zagreb (Croatia-A1, 1998-2003), Mabo Livorno (Italy-Lega, 2003-04), Cibona Zagreb (Croatia-A1, 2004-08).
Marin Rozic was the only player from the Croatian league to make the National Team for EuroBasket 2007. Jasmin Repesa selected him for his team spirit, defence and ability to shoot the ball. He was born in Mostar, Bosnia-Herzegovina, and grew up with Zrinjevac Zagreb. In 2003, he left Croatia to play for Livorno in Italy but stayed only one season in the Lega A. One year later, he signed for Cibona Zagreb to play in the Euroleague. He has been a key member of the Cibona team for four seasons. He is above all a defensive stopper and a team player. Rozic is an excellent shooter and played a big part in Croatia’s come-from-behind win over Puerto Rico in Group D at the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament.
