Career: Panathinaikos Athens (Greece-ESAKE, 1997-2001), Panellinos Athens (Greece-A2, 2001-02), Peristeri Athens (Greece-ESAKE, 2002-03), AEK Athens (Greece-ESAKE, 2003-05), Detroit Pistons (USA-NBA, 2005), Roanoke Dazzle (USA-D-League, 2005-06), Albuquerque Thunderbirds (USA-D-League, 2006), Seattle Supersonics (USA-NBA, 2006), Albuquerque Thunderbirds (USA-D-League, 2007), VidiVici Bologna (Italy-Lega, 2007), AEK Athens (Greece-ESAKE, 2007-08). Selected in the second round of the 2007 NBA draft (#58) by the Detroit Pistons.

Andreas Glyniadakis was a player that had yet to make it to a big event but was always present to help the National Team. That finally changed this summer, when he made the final cut and played for Panagiotis Yannakis at the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament. He moved to Panathinaikos at the age of 16 and was eventually selected by Detroit Pistons (58th in 2003 NBA draft). He played for the Atlanta Hawks in the 2006 NBA pre-season but was cut, only to be signed by the Seattle Supersonics (5/11/2006), playing there 13 games, before being waived on January 4, 2007. He played for the Boston Celtics in the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas before deciding to come back to Greece originally for AEK and then for Maroussi. At the club, he had a good, solid 2007-08 and showed that he had improved defensively and was much tougher, while also showing an ability to score with both right and left hooks. He got limited minutes at the qualifying event.
