After a couple of summers off from the National Team, Jasikevicius put the white and green jersey back on for EuroBasket 2007 and again provided the fiery leadership that has earned him legendary status in his homeland and all of Europe. Despite playing with the injuries for most of the tournament, the flashy point guard helped his team back to the podium for the first time since their European title-winning summer of 2003. Jasikevicius proved he is still one of the best floor generals on the continent by dishing out nearly six assists per contest. Saras, as he is known, won bronze at Sydney 2000 and had famous moments in Greece four years ago with an MVP performance in their preliminary round win over Team USA.
