Career: Peykan (Iran-Superleague, 2002-07), Kaveh (Iran-Superleague, 2007-08)

Amir Amini is a pure point guard who brings leadership and stability to the squad. Amir is a solid player on both ends of the floor and prides himself on the intangibles of the game. He, along with Saeid Davarpanah, took Kaveh to new heights this past season as they finished a close third in the league. With Iran young and building for the future, his experience will be a huge asset. Last year at the FIBA Asia Championship, he only played 13 minutes per game but did average more at the FIBA Diamond Ball with Mehdi Kamrani out injured.
