Career: Karditsa (Greece-3rd Division, 1998-2000), AEK (Greece-HEBA, 2000-06), Olympiakos (Greece-HEBA, 2006-08)

Center Ioannis Bouroussis is a center who is one of the steadiest players at Olympiacos, providing the team with scoring both inside and outside, along with rebounds and blocked shots. He was a member of the team that celebrated the gold medal at the U20 European Championship in Lithuania in 2002 along with Vassilis Spanoulis and Nikos Zisis. He appeared for the first time in the senior National Team at EuroBasket 2005, again celebrating gold. At Olympiacos this season, playing under Panagiotis Yannakis, he excelled and helped the team reach the quarter-finals of the Euroleague. He then excelled for Greece at the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament.
