International career: U/22 World Championships 1997 (gold medal and MVP); 1998 FIBA World Championship, 2000 Olympic Games; 2002 Australian Player of the Year; 2008 FIBA Oceania Championship
After an MVP and NBL Championship-winning season with the Tigers, Anstey returns to the Boomers team in full health and outstanding form. He brings class and composure to both ends of the court, with an unlimited scoring ability and excellent body work at the forefront of his game. He was perhaps Australia’s best player at the 2008 Acropolis Tournament in Athens in July.
