Career: Zalgiris-2 Kaunas (Lithuania-2nd Div, 2002-04), Nevezis Kedainiai (Lithuania-LKL, 2004-05), Zalgiris Kaunas (Lithuania-LKL, 2005-08).
Maciulis was invited to join the main team barely a week before EuroBasket 2007, and surprisingly for many outsiders, he made the final roster. But coach Butautas was among those who who knew exactly what this young and enthusiastic forward can add to the team. He had Maciulis on nearly every youth national team he had coached, including the squad that won gold at the U21 World Championship in Argentina in 2005. This year, Maciulis is coming off another strong and solid season in the Euroleague with Zalgiris Kaunas. He averaged 12 points and 3.5 rebounds in 26 minutes per game for the Lithuanian giants. Moreover, it seems that Maciulis has learned how to keep his emotions under control, something that now affects his game only in a positive way.
