Konrad Wysocki used an excellent Bundesliga season with ratiopharm Ulm as a springboard to a first nomination with Germany's senior National Team. The Polish-born small forward is a former Ivy League Rookie of the Year at Princeton before beginning his professional career in Germany. In his second season in the second division, Wysocki helped Ulm win promotion and proved this season his value as a powerful small forward, collecting six double-doubles while averaging 13.1 points and 7.8 rebounds for the season. After playing for Germany at the youth and university levels, Wysocki was very productive for Germany at the FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament and should see a lot of minutes at the Beijing Games.
